is looking for a Principal Business Systems Analyst in the Business
Applications team who is a subject matter expert in multiple domains of oracle
applications, effective in collaboration, facilitation and supporting the ERP
BSA team and business partners. The successful candidate will be a
seasoned business analyst with leadership skills and extensive knowledge and
experience in designing and building complex, highly scalable and dependable
application systems. Their responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Process
Enablement & Optimization
- Drives
multiple project implementations and thoroughly conversant with systems
development life cycle process.
- Performs
fit-gap analysis and supervises junior team members in gathering
requirements and problem solving.
- Designs
medium-large sized cross-functional project solutions that meet
efficiency, maintainability and usability goals.
- Develops
and maintains a thorough understanding of the business processes of
supported products and applications, and works with the customers and
various stakeholders to develop cost effective, elegant solutions to
business problems
- Engage,
coordinate and align with business partners on projects.
- Manifests
broad domain expertise in business processes and systems.
- Ensure
disciplined development methodology is followed for continuous evolution
and optimization for the Oracle solutions.
Support
& Compliance
- Provides
tier 3 support, including escalations for aged, unresolved tier 1 and 2
issues
- Ensures
that SOX and compliance standards are met in all work performed.
- Coach’s
junior staff on tier 2 issue support.
- Pro-actively
looks for opportunities to help/ensure that SLAs are met.
- Leads
junior team members in ensuring support metric/SLAs are met.
Customer
Focus & Partnering
- Demonstrates
effective partnering/teamwork abilities by establishing effective working
relationships with business and other partners in a team environment.
- Collaborates
with customers to solve complex issues and influence decision making.
- Raises
awareness by recognizing potential conflict situations
- Work
as team to ensure consistent message is communicated to customer in all
aspects of job.
Qualifications
- Degree
in Business Administration or Computer Science. MBA or a MS in Information
Systems preferred but not required.
- 10+
years of experience in implementation, development, process re-engineering
and support of Oracle EBS applications Suite mainly Oracle Financials
which include all aspects of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Global
Intercompany, Sub-Ledger Accounting, Cash Management, Accounts
Receivables, Accounts Payables, Purchasing, EB Tax, Approvals Management,
Oracle Time and Labor and Oracle Self-service applications
- 3+
years’ experience in delivery, deployment and support (on-shore and
off-shore) for an Oracle ERP in a global company.
- Must
have strong understanding of SOX controls, compliance and change
management for business systems.
- Ability
to identify, gather requirements, design and developing interfaces from 3rd
party systems into Oracle applications.
- Excellent
communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional
customer service orientation and collaboration skills.
- Successful
track record in delivering Business System solutions on time and on
budget.
- Demonstrated
successful working relationships with IT and Business Partners.
Excellent
analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills to manage complex
process and technology issues.
